■About the position: NCD is seeking a Manager for its new Incident Response Center in Japan. This center will go beyond traditional monitoring operations and will act as a center of excellence in the cybersecurity field, serving as a core organization responsible for enhancing incident response, utilizing threat intelligence, and promoting proactive risk mitigation measures. In addition to managing and developing the team, this position will play a key role in leading the formulation of operational strategies, improving service quality, and strengthening customer engagement, driving greater maturity for the entire organization. ■Job Description: • Overall SOC operation management (monitoring, analysis, and response process optimization) • Incident response leadership and critical incident escalation • Operational improvement and implementation strategy development for SIEM, EDR, NSM, etc. • Threat intelligence utilization and reporting to customers • Recruiting, training, evaluation, and mentoring SOC members • KPI setting and performance reviews • Coordination and reporting with internal and external stakeholders • Collaboration with global SOC teams ■Experience Gained: • Strategic decision-making skills for SOC operations • Advanced security knowledge through collaboration with global teams • Direct contribution to improving the organization's security maturity • Participation in next-generation SOC construction projects ■Career Paths and Growth Opportunities: • Promotion to Global Incident Response Manager • Career development as a security consultant or CISO Company Info: ■About NCD: Nihon Cyber Defence (NCD) is a global cybersecurity company headquartered in Tokyo. Job Requirements: [MUST] ■Required Skills and Experience: • 3+ years of operational and management experience in a SOC or CSIRT • Deep knowledge of incident response, threat hunting, and SIEM operations • Team management experience (team of 5 or more people) • Native Japanese • Business-level English (able to communicate with overseas teams) [WANT] ■Preferred Skills and Experience: • Security-related certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, etc.) • Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Understanding of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF • Experience implementing and operating SIEM (Splunk, Elastic Stack), EDR, and SOAR • Skills in preparing reports for management [Other] ■Notes • Many international members work here, and English may be used for business communication.
