Full time English Native teacher for private JHS and SHS in Osaka

Job Description

We are primarily looking for a full-time teacher, You will primarily be responsible for independently teaching English classes, such as English Logic and Expression. In addition, you will collaborate with Japanese teachers through team teaching and engage with students through grade-level responsibilities as a member of a grade team. Our new school campus provides an excellent ICT environment where you can enjoy teaching junior and senior high school students.For more information about our school, please visit our official website. ■Main Responsibilities ・Conduct English classes at junior and senior high school, both independently and in team-teaching with Japanese teachers (e.g., English Communication, English Expression). ・Belong to a grade-level team, supporting grade-level duties and engaging with students on a daily basis. ・Serve as an assistant homeroom teacher, doing morning assembly for students or joining school events instead of homeroom teachers, and so on. ・Organize and teach the After-School English Conversation Class. ・Support students during the After-School Self-Study Time. ・Attend school events when required. ■Working Hours 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM / Monday – Friday ・Sample Timetable : 8:40 AM Homeroom support 9:10 AM – 3:40 PM Mainstream English classes (15–18 classes/week) *Teaching, lesson planning, material preparation, meetings with JET, etc. 3:40 PM – 5:30 PM After-school duties ■Holidays and Leave ・Weekends and National Holidays *Some school events may be held on weekends. ・Seasonal Holidays (approx. 8 weeks/year) Summer: 4 weeks Winter: 2 weeks Spring: 2 weeks ・Some school events may occur during these holidays; attendance may be required. ・Paid Leave 10 days in the first year ■Compensation and Benefits ・Salary: ¥280,000/month (before deductions, paid 12 times/year) ・Tax and social welfare contributions will be deducted ・Joining the Private Teacher’s Aid Association is required for social welfare coverage ・Transportation allowance provided we also welcome part-time applicants.
