The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for experienced native English language instructors to fill various part-time teaching positions starting in April 2026. Candidates must … currently reside in Japan. hold a current valid working visa. have a native level of English. have at least three years of English language teaching experience. have a bachelor’s degree or higher. be available to work from April 2026 to March 2027. Duties include … planning and teaching lessons according to course guidelines. interacting with students, and encouraging interaction between students, in English. preparing and marking homework. participating in the assessment and recording of students' progress. (1) Saturday school Program: Elementary Time: Saturdays 08:30-16:30 Contract length: 30 days from April 2026 to March 2027 Compensation: ¥25,375/day plus transportation Location: Tezukayama, Osaka Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years. (2) Kindergarten After school Program Time:Thursdays 14:30-15:10 Contract length: April 2026 to March 2027 Lesson frequency: 2 to 4 times per month(No lesson in April and August) Compensation: ¥4,900/day plus transportation fee Location: Abiko, Osaka Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-4 years. (3) Saturday International Kids Program: Elementary (S) Substitute teacher Time: Saturdays 08:30-15:30 Contract length: 38 days from April 2026 to March 2027 (irregular) Compensation: ¥19,000/day plus transportation Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics/reading, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work. (4) Saturday Kinder Morning (S) Substitute teacher Time: Saturdays 9:55-13:05 (4) Saturday Elementary Morning (S) Substitute teacher Time: Saturdays 9:30-12:40 Contract length: 38 days from April 2026 to March 2027 (irregular) Compensation: ¥11,000/day plus transportation Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Part-time native English teacher for beginner to high-level returnees/international school attendees aged 6-12 years.Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work. (5) Weeknight International Kids Program: Kinder and Elementary (TU/W/TH) Substitute teacher Time: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 15:20-18:30 16:20-19:30 16:50-20:00 Contract length: 38 days from April 2026 to March 2027 (irregular) Compensation: ¥11,000/lesson plus transportation Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji and Tosabori Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Part-time native English teacher for beginner to high-level returnees/international school attendees aged 6-12 years.
